So I quit my job.... Yeah, really. I just didn't want to deal with the monotony of the processes, paperwork, people, and all the payroll. Let me tell you, dealing with peoples' money was way more fun in college as the Treasurer of the Pre-Law Club than in real life. All of my business and accounting classes couldn't have prepared me for that job.
I'm just glad I'm done with it and there's one more hurdle I've overcome in figuring out what's my career niche in life. Every event that happens in your life is a learning experience, and what lessons I learned from this last job will help me on future jobs and in my life.
As of right now I have two interviews in Orlando tomorrow for public relations and marketing firms. I also have a phone interview for a job in Baltimore, Maryland as a Marketing Specialist for a Fortune 500 company. A girl like me never stays unemployed for long.
I seriously don't know what people are talking about when they say there are NO jobs out here. I get call-backs and interviews just like that. Granted, I know every one's experiences and resumes are different, but if you stay focused, look hard enough, and want it bad enough; something will come around for you no matter what your background.
