Isn't it strange how once you hit a certain age you begin to wish you were younger again, while people who are young seem to always wish to be older. When we're 10 we can't wait to be a teenager. When we finally hit 13 we are wishing to be 16 so we can drive.
When you're 16 you wish to be 18 so you can graduate school, smoke, vote, be legally considered "grown" and gain access to all the coolest clubs and what-not. Of course it's only natural for an 18 year old to already be planning their big 21st birthday bash.
Then there's the other side of this coin, people who are fast approaching 30, 40, 50, etc. are wishing that they were younger again. Many of these people spend big money and waste so much time trying to recapture the essence of their heydays.
I was just thinking how sad it is that people can wish their life away. My advice to both types of people: Simply enjoy living your life, and ignore father time and all the other bullshit.
